Girls Volleyball Shines Bright
The Girls Volleyball team is off to a great start. In recent weeks, they earned an impressive sweep with a win over Upper St. Clair, defeating them for the first time since 2020. Additionally, they have now won back-to-back tournaments, claiming the first-place prize in both the Upper St. Clair and South Fayette tournaments. Coach Mooney is building for the future as well. This Wednesday, September 30th, Mellon will play Jefferson on Wednesday at 5:30 in the South Gym at the High School. Come see the Varsity in action on Tuesday, October 13th against Seneca Valley at 7:30 pm.
